Are you an experienced and versatile Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer with a passion for keeping systems running smoothly? We are looking for a skilled individual to join our team and contribute to the upkeep and enhancement of our mechanical and electrical systems. If you have a strong background in HVAC, boilers, pumps, generators, and general building maintenance, this could be the role for you!
Key Responsibilities:
* Routine Inspections & Maintenance: Carry out inspections, maintenance, and repairs of mechanical and electrical equipment, including HVAC systems, boilers, pumps, generators, and more.
* Troubleshooting & Repairs: Diagnose mechanical/electrical issues, implement timely solutions to minimize downtime and disruptions.
* Preventive Maintenance: Perform scheduled preventive maintenance tasks to ensure optimal system performance and extend equipment lifespan.
* Emergency Response: Respond to urgent repair requests quickly and efficiently, ensuring minimal disruption to operations.
* Collaboration: Work with team members, contractors, and external service providers to coordinate upgrades, repairs, and installations.
* Record Keeping: Maintain accurate and up-to-date maintenance logs, work orders, and inventory records.
* Innovation & Best Practices: Stay informed about the latest industry trends and apply innovative solutions to improve systems and processes.
* What We’re Looking For:
Essential Qualifications & Experience:
* NVQ Level 3 or equivalent (ONC Mechanical/Electrical Engineering, BTEC Level 3 in Mechanical & Electrical Engineering).
* Proven experience in a mechanical/electrical maintenance role, ideally in facilities management or estate environments.
* Strong knowledge of mechanical systems including HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and general building maintenance.
* Proficiency in diagnosing and troubleshooting mechanical/electrical issues.
* Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize preventive maintenance efforts effectively
