Schools across the Rochdale area are looking for experienced Teaching Assistants to join their school in January 2025!
Experienced Teaching Assistant – The Role:
Work with students across all levels, including Early Years, Primary, and Secondary.
Support individual students or small groups with tailored interventions to aid academic, social, and emotional development.
Collaborate with teachers to prepare engaging resources and classroom activities.
Assist in managing classroom behaviour and maintaining a positive learning environment.
Provide one-to-one or small group support for students with SEN or additional needs, where required.
Monitor and record student progress, feeding back to teachers and parents as needed.
Experienced Teaching Assistant – The Ideal Candidate:
Holds a Level 2 or Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification or equivalent.
Has a minimum of 6 months’ experience working in a school or educational setting.
Demonstrates strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Shows a calm, patient, and proactive approach to working with children.
Experience working with SEN students is desirable but not essential.
Ability to adapt to different classroom environments and needs.
