Job summary
We are seeking an experienced principal clinical psychologist or psychological therapist who is passionate about working to complete the co-production and embedding of a transdiagnostic clinical pathway for people receiving care from community mental health teams in Bradford and Craven. Main duties of the job
The successful candidate will be experienced working with adults with complex mental health needs and familiar with working through a trauma informed lens to understand what has happened to people and ways to alleviate their distress. The lead role oversees the psychological therapists and assistant psychologist in the team as well as providing support, training, formulation, reflective space and leadership with the wider clinical team and their own clinical work. We welcome innovation, creativity and holistic ways of working to meet the needs of our diverse communities.
The successful postholder will also work as part of Bradford and Craven's Act As One helping to build holistic person centred care for people in their local communities alongside colleagues in health, social care and the thriving voluntary services sector.

2. Doctorate level training in clinical or applied psychology, including specifically models of psychopathology, clinical, psychometrics, two or more distinct psychological therapies and lifespan developmental psychology as accredited by the BPS, or a BPS Statement of Equivalence. AND Eligibility for Chartered Clinical Psychologist status. AND Undertaken post-qualification further training in a specialised area of psychological practice neuropsychology, CBT, CAT, DBT, solution focused therapy, analytical therapy, systemic / family work etc.
3. Specialist post graduate training to doctorate level or equivalent in a psychotherapeutic modality - including Cognitive Behaviour Therapy, Psychoanalytic Psychotherapy, Systemic Therapy AND Accreditation from a recognised Psychological Therapy body BABCP, BACP, UKCP via: (a) Professional route; requiring previous mental health qualification Clin. Psych., RMN, Dip. SW. or (b) where applicable, the KSA (knowledge, skills and attitude) route ( with the BABCP).
