Hours: Full time, although applicants wishing to work part-time or flexible patterns or to apply as job share are welcome.

Working across all our councils, the lead for UKRI’s Centre of Expertise for leadership and learning will be responsible for the team who:
* Support organisational change and improvement, helping UKRI deliver better research and innovation outcomes by strengthening leadership, management and individual performance across the organisation.
* Develop and provide a range of learning solutions which enable staff to fulfil their potential, whatever their learning or development preference or need.
* Create a fair and equal place to work.
* Support staff wellbeing through our learning programmes and help strengthen the culture of learning across UKRI, enabling colleagues to find creative and effective solutions to identified leadership development and learning needs.

Essential Skills/Qualifications/Experience:

You’ll need:
* Experience of influencing organisational change and implementing leadership development and learning interventions to help embed that change. (S&I)
* The ability to influence the leadership, learning and organisational development agenda at a senior strategic level. (S&I)
* To be able to develop and oversee the delivery of a learning and development strategy. (I)
* Insight driven – at ease with data and analytics to determine need and inform strategy and delivery along with impact and return on investment. (I)
* Experience of leading a Learning and Leadership Development function within a complex organization. (S&I)
* Strong subject matter expertise in leadership development and/or organisational development with relevant practical and professional experience. (S&I)
