Position: Senior Occupational Therapist – West Yorkshire
Care home: Multisite covering four services across the West Yorkshire region
Location: Ravensdale – Leeds, Copperfields – Leeds, Hillside Court – Leeds, Wykewood - Bradford
Contract type: Full time permanent position
Rate: £40,000 per annum

Join us as our new Senior Occupational Therapist working across four complex care services within West Yorkshire!
As a Senior Occupational Therapist, you’ll play a vital role in supporting us to achieve our mission of making every day better for adults living with complex needs.
You’ll provide a high-quality occupational therapy service for the people in your homes, to maximise their independence and empower them to live their best lives.
You’ll lead and supervise Junior Therapists or Therapy Assistants across the homes you support to ensure delivery of evidence-based, high-quality therapy and rehabilitation.
About the role
In this role, you’ll provide specialist assessments, clinical diagnoses and interventions to help people overcome the challenges they face with completing everyday tasks or activities.
You’ll work with the wider Care Team and Clinical Team to create person-centred care plans, support people to achieve their goals and evaluate their outcomes.
No two days will ever be the same, but your day-to-day responsibilities will include:
1. Being responsible for a clinical caseload
2. Working alongside the people we support, their loved ones and professionals to develop and deliver person-centred occupational therapy interventions
3. Leading and collaborating closely with the Therapy Team (Junior Physiotherapists, Junior Occupational Therapists and Therapy Assistants in your homes)
4. Carrying out assessments
5. Maintaining accurate records for people receiving occupational therapy
6. Promoting choice, dignity and independence.
