Job summary An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Health Care Assistant to join our Day Services Team. This role will be a permanent position, working 09.00am -17.00pm on Tuesdays and Wednesdays. The post holder will be primarily working within our Day Hospice programme, carrying out care to palliative patients, liaising and referring to other members of the Multi-Disciplinary Team or Primary Care services where necessary. Working with other healthcare assistants and volunteers in the immediate Day Hospice team, the post holder will have great communication and an ability to undertake administration linked to the service. The post holder will also support other clinical areas of the hospice as required with scheduled time in the Inpatient Unit or with the Community Team.
