Internal Communications Lead
Bristol / Hybrid (3 days a week in the office)

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an Internal Communications Lead to join the team in Bristol. This role is critical in driving integration of activities across Rolls-Royce and provides the opportunity to be part of a high-energy team, working at pace to drive the transformation of Rolls-Royce at a pivotal point in its history.

You will support a team that will drive strategy and engagement of all employees globally and across all three business divisions. It will suit a candidate who is able to deliver employee engagement activities in support of One Rolls-Royce - motivating and mobilizing employees through the use of compelling content.

What you will be doing:
Communications planning
1. As a recognized employee communications advisor, use insight to inform tactical delivery plans to achieve the desired outcome from awareness and understanding to behaviour or culture change.
2. Collaborate with Editorial and Planning and Content & Channels team to coordinate the day-to-day calendar of activity to reach key audiences across both digitally connected and non-connected work environments.
3. Work closely with the VP Internal Communications and Business Partners to identify opportunities, to ensure consistency of message and avoid unnecessary clashes in activity.
Communications production
1. Produce and deliver Group internal content, including company announcements, planned activity and responses to emerging issues ensuring a smooth flow of information across management levels and divisions.
2. Work directly with the Internal Communications partners to produce and deliver consistent corporate narrative that reflects Rolls-Royce's business strategy and D&I ambition via our owned channels.
3. Collaborate with other teams, including People teams, to support project workstreams related to our Transformation programme and One Rolls-Royce mindset.
Innovation and best practice
1. Stay abreast of current best practices in the industry and technology trends to continuously improve and learn which can then be shared across the Internal Communications team.
2. Regularly review insight and measurement data to evolve tactics for relevancy and impact.
Who we are looking for:
1. Degree or equivalent qualification.
2. Well-developed interpersonal, diplomacy, communication, influencing and negotiations skills.
3. Ability to solve complex problems while maintaining customer focus.
4. Highly motivated and capable of working under own initiative or in a team environment.
5. Sound business acumen.
6. Ability to prioritise workloads to meet demanding deadlines.
7. Experience of influencing at all levels across an organisation.
