If so, we want to hear from you As a housing management worker, you will support residents and assist the Senior Housing Management Worker to ensure that our housing services are adequately managed, the accommodation is secure and the Health and Safety standards are maintained. Job overview To directly support residents from application to resettlement and ensure that tenancies are maintained throughout. To ensure that the organisations housing services are managed to a high standard and that they are safe and secure. Duties Interviewing clients and assessing their needs Assessing risks and ensuring clients accommodation is safe and secure Developing and maintaining professional trusting relationships with clients Conducting weekly key works with your client group Advising clients on their rights e.g., Benefits and Healthcare Assisting with housing applications and benefit applications Resolutions of problems with regard to the payment of housing benefits Helping clients with practical skills such as cleaning and cooking Maintaining accurate client records, in a timely manner Making referrals to specialist services e.g., Mental Health support Working in partnership with other agencies when necessary Supporting clients when moving on Ensuring the cleanliness of the properties and preparing rooms for incoming clients Ensuring that all documentation relating to our supported housing is up to date at all times Providing accurate information to the Senior Housing management worker for regular reports Provide effective Safeguarding of vulnerable adults in our care and to maintain professional boundaries Any other duties appropriate to the post
