The role we’re hiring for is a Scheduler/Workforce Coordinator to join our team based in our office in Farnborough. You’ll be responsible for efficiently planning and coordinating the schedules of our engineering team to ensure timely service delivery and operational efficiency. The ideal candidate will have experience in workforce planning, excellent organisational skills, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment. Strong communication and problem-solving abilities are essential to ensure the smooth coordination of the engineering team. What you receive for joining us: We’re looking to offer a salary upwards of £27,000. In addition, we offer a Company Pension and Healthcare, 25 days annual holiday public holidays, and a financial loyalty bonus. Your working hours will be 8am-5pm Monday to Friday. 100% office based. Here’s a look at some of the things you’ll be doing: Manage the scheduling of jobs for a portfolio of accounts, ensuring engineers are allocated tasks, confirming bookings with clients, and running weekly reports to track pending and completed jobs. Regularly update jobs with specific notes and ensure proper job sheets are sent to engineers. Maintain ongoing communication with account managers to address job escalations, engineer concerns, and annual leave requests. Handle queries related to missed visits, abortive charges, and invoices, escalating jobs and issues as necessary. Review and process paperwork from completed jobs, ensuring accuracy, issuing approved documents to clients, and raising certificates where necessary. Create reports including inspection results and collate relevant job information. Answer incoming calls, distribute tasks accordingly, and perform ad hoc duties. Verify job details for invoicing, raise new jobs and contracts, order required materials, and ensure lab sample bookings are correct.Can you show experience in some of these areas: Ability to effectively manage and schedule multiple jobs for engineers, prioritise tasks, and ensure timely completion of all job-related activities, including tracking paperwork and job statuses. Proficient in liaising with account managers, engineers, and clients, with the ability to escalate issues, handle queries, and maintain clear and regular communication to ensure smooth operations. Skilled in reviewing and processing job paperwork, creating reports, checking invoicing details, and maintaining accurate records for both internal use and client communication.
