Shipping Coordinator We are looking to recruit a part time Shipping Coordinator. Their primary responsibility is to ensure shipments reach their destination in time and with correct paperwork using the most cost effective service without delaying the delivery. You will be a team player with a can-do attitude with the ability to use your own initiative to solve problems. Role Responsibilities Raise accurate and timely shipping documentation taking into account different selling entities and subsequent export and import custom requirements. Ensure current packaging, customs, country and customer specific requirements are met Monitor all outstanding orders to ensure timely shipment and consolidation achieved Manage collection of export shipments by ensuring all documentation entered on 3PL system with calculated commodity split to ensure no delays with shipment. Manage home trade shipments and queries in absence of part time Despatch Administrator Cost shipments individually for freight invoice authorisation and accrual purposes Assist manager with the complex movement of subco stock Obtaining quotes from carriers for specific shipment costings Effective and reactive communication with internal and external customers Production of pick sheets and delivery notes and other relevant paperwork Manage release of pick sheets to warehouse to ensure on time delivery Ensure labelling, transport and customer bookings completed to ensure on time delivery Investigate stock anomalies and rectify Monitor, pick and dispatch samples Process returns from arrival to end use, physically and on SAP Work efficiently and effectively as part of a team Keep work area clean and tidy Maintain high levels of Health and Safety standards Essential Skills: Excellent communication skills Ability to work under pressure paying strict attention to detail Team player Conscientious, organised, articulate and methodical Ability to prioritise and multi task Essential experience: SAP Microsoft Office Incoterms Benefits Pension Company matches up to 7% Group Income Protection payable for up to 2 years at 50% of salary Death in Service Mativ Extras Retailer discount site Employee Assistance Programme 24/7 helpline and free counselling and virtual GP sessions Cycle to Work Scheme Holiday Buying opportunity to buy up to 5 additional days per year Free onsite parking
