Account Manager Job in Ringwood – FMCG Industry
Dovetail Recruitment are pleased to be working with a global business who are at the forefront of their field and continuing to grow. The company works with large, big label brands and well-known retailers across the UK, Europe, and the US, providing them with custom-made, innovative designs while providing an end-to-end service from concept to delivery. Our client is now looking for a new Account Manager to work within the sales team and manage several leading US retailers.
This Account Manager role provides great job satisfaction from winning new business and being able to grow the client as your own while using your creative flair to come up with new product developments!
Duties & Responsibilities of the Account Manager:
1. Identifying opportunities, then pitching for and winning new business with existing and new customers, including many of the US major mass market retailers. Working with our Directors and International Business Development Manager to do so.
2. Building and developing relationships with key accounts, and managing the business won.
3. Managing relevant NPD, including briefing our art team and managing customer design feedback.
4. Managing all commercials for each project, including initial pricing and quotations, remaining competitive whilst ensuring profitability and margins are maintained.
5. Project Managing delivery of all projects: Coordinating all customer requirements and ensuring all deadlines are met, from point of order through to delivery.
6. Liaising with internal stakeholders including warehouse, logistics, marketing & finance teams, and submitting required information to progress projects.
7. Managing internal and external suppliers during the course of projects.
Minimum Experience for the Account Manager:
1. Be a natural and engaging presenter and communicator with great people skills.
2. Experience within a product-based sales/account management role.
3. Be focused on fantastic levels of customer service.
4. Have superb organisational and time management skills, with excellent attention to detail.
5. Experience within the FMCG (fast moving consumer goods) industry.
Salary & Benefits:

There will likely be some international travel required at various times of the year for the successful Account Manager (particularly for trade shows). The candidate should possess their own means of transport and a clean driving license.
