The successful candidate will be responsible for operating and maintaining our solar energy systems, ensuring optimal performance and reliability. This role requires a proactive approach to problem-solving, a commitment to safety, and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.Key Responsibilities:Take primary responsibility for solar plant performance, optimisation of the site and maintaining equipment availabilityPerform pre-planned and reactive maintenance works across their solar farms, including electrical maintenance, solar panel cleaning (occasionally) and support the HV teamEffectively help resolve work tickets and report issues back to your line manager, and compile reports of completed worksLiaise with internal and external teams, including in-house LV/HV personnel, the grounds team and external subcontractors when requiredProvide mentoring and training to junior technicians where requiredTake part in the company's on-call rota for non-working hours (including Bank Holidays, evenings, and weekends)Qualifications:Experience in industrial, utility-scale and/or rooftop solar is preferred.
