Role Overview: As a Volunteer Manager, you will play a vital role in the recruitment, training, and management of our incredible volunteer network. You will develop and implement strategic plans that ensure volunteers are effectively engaged, motivated, and aligned with our mission and values. In this key position, you’ll foster a positive and rewarding experience for both volunteers and the individuals we support. Key Responsibilities: Volunteer Recruitment & Onboarding : Promote volunteering opportunities, manage recruitment processes, and ensure volunteers receive the necessary training and documentation. Volunteer Coordination & Management : Assign roles based on volunteer skills, develop policies, provide ongoing support, and ensure safe and effective volunteer experiences. Engagement & Retention : Organise appreciation events, training opportunities, and feedback sessions to enhance volunteer satisfaction and well-being. Operational & Strategic Support : Work closely with leadership to align volunteer activities with the charity’s objectives, evaluate impact, and ensure legal compliance. About You: You’ll have excellent communication and organisational skills. You’ll be passionate about building inclusive, diverse, and motivated volunteer teams.
