We are seeking to appoint a suitably qualified professional who is both passionate and knowledgeable to join our dedicated science department at an exciting time in the school’s history. The school has been rated as ‘Good’ by Ofsted, most recently in January 2023: “The leadership team has maintained the good quality of education in the school since the last inspection. You have created an inclusive and purposeful environment. Blue Coat is a ‘welcoming school’. Pupils enjoy school. Staff are proud of the school. They believe that there is a culture that encourages calm and orderly conduct and is aspirational for all pupils.”
The science department has recently undertaken a multi-million pound refurbishment as part of the Department for Education’s Priority Schools Building Programme. The department now boasts state-of-the-art science facilities which provide superb foundations for the delivery of high-quality teaching and learning across all of the science disciplines.
