Position : Class 1 Driver Location : Ryton on Dunsmore, Coventry Shift : Nights Rate: PAYE with holiday accrued Mon - Fri £19.00 Sat and Sun £24.00 PAYE with holiday rolled up into hourly rate Mon - Fri £21.29 Sat and Sun £26.90 Responsibilities Delivering / Collecting Cages, Pallets, Freight, Stillages and Yorks to and from customers. Some sites the goods will be loaded or unloaded for you - at others, you'll need to do it yourself. Scanning consignments and using pallet trucks. Responsible for inspecting your vehicle and trailer every day and complete a Defect Report if necessary. Dealing with customers, both internal and external, making sure any queries you can't answer, are passed on to your site manager quickly. The ideal candidate will have: No more than 6 penalty points No IN/DR/DD conviction codes Have a minimum of 2 years experience Class 1 Driving licence Driver CPC qualification card Valid DCPC Excellent knowledge of Road Transport Laws - and commitment to safe use of the road
