We currently have one full time/open-ended opportunity as 1.0 FTE Grade 7 - Lecturer in Dietetics

As a Lecturer in our Department you will have a focus on providing high-quality learning and teaching that is underpinned by scholarly activity. We are keen to receive applications from people who will enhance our delivery of and reputation in Human Nutrition and Dietetics although expertise in other related areas is welcomed.
Applicants who wish to apply for the Lecturer in Dietetics post, should hold a MSc level degree or working towards a postgraduate qualification in an appropriate area related to Human Nutrition and Dietetics and be a registered Dietitian with the HCPC.
Lecturers are expected to contribute to the delivery and assessment of existing modules, supervision, and the enhancement of the student experience our BSc (Hons) Human Nutrition and Dietetics and other postgraduate programmes delivered by the School. Prior experience of supporting student learning, teaching and assessment in higher education and/or in industry/practice settings (e.g. NHS/ third sector) is essential. The Department of Occupational Therapy and Human Nutrition and Dietetics promotes innovation in learning and teaching and, therefore, we are keen to appoint an individual with experience of e-learning and online environments. A higher education teaching qualification and/or Fellow status with AdvanceHE is desirable.
