We are delighted to be working with a recognised multi-specialist property business based in Worksop in their search for a Finance Manager to join their team on a permanent basis.
This prestigious business has strong ties into property, investment, food and retail, offering vast amounts of variety. The role of Finance Manager will report into the Finance Director and will oversee a small transactional team who assist in managing the portfolio of businesses. This role will have a predominant focus on the full production of management accounts, balance sheet management and responsibility for intercompany reconciliations.
This position will be ideal for a 1st-time mover from practice due to the variety of different businesses within the company, as well as the further exposure to commercial accounting elements including budgeting, forecasting and cashflow management.
Duties and Responsibilities:
* Production of full month end reports including management accounts, balance sheet management and bank reconciliations
* Production of accurate financial statements and statutory accounts
* Production of management information packs for SMT
* Continuous improvement of financial systems where needed
* Responsibility for actively improving all financial management procedures
* Leading budgeting and forecasting processes
* Management of cashflow across all business entities
* Supporting the development of a small transactional team
* Acting as a point of contact for external audit processes
Person Specification:
* ACA or ACCA Qualified
