Payroll Assistant

Join our team as a Payroll Assistant, reporting directly to the Finance Manager. This role is crucial for managing our subcontractors' payroll and ensuring compliance with relevant regulations. You will be part of a dynamic team, contributing to the financial operations within a successful group of companies.
Day-to-day of the role:
* Manage fortnightly subcontractors' payroll for two entities within the Group.
* Handle daily timesheets, liaise with site for payroll information, query discrepancies, process payslips with strong attention to detail and precision.
* Manage external subcontractor payroll as required.
* Assist with new subcontractor onboarding by recording payroll profiles.
* Ensure all documentation for new hires is compliant, with quarterly full compliance checks.
* Draft and issue contractual notifications and correspondence.
* Collaborate closely with the Finance Assistant and Finance Manager to assist with annual leave/sickness cover.
* Perform ad-hoc duties as requested by the Finance Manager and Group Head of Finance.
