I am recruiting several CARING and PASSIONATE Support Assistants on behalf of a fantastic service in the Cardiff City Centre area. There is a need to work flexibly Monday to Friday between the hours of 09:00 and 19:00 and also take part in an on-call service. As a Support Assistant, you will be responsible for the following: Be the first point of contact for service users via phone, email, online chat, text and face-to-face Identify and assess the risks and needs of service users Provide immediate crisis intervention Make detailed and accurate reports and ensuring the CRM is always updated Signpost and support women and their families to various agencies, e.g. social services, the police, DWP, homelessness, education, housing, and cultural services Promote the service Undertake training and development to enhance your skills and knowledge Requirements: Hold a SafeLives IDVA training certificate, or a relevant degree, or demonstrable equivalent experience or a vocational qualification.
