Maintenance Manager With a national reach, our client has a portfolio of retail shops located across the South-West of England, 2 main offices located in Bristol and London, a Warehouse in Bristol and 10 ‘Home from Homes’ - A core service that they provide, offering a free place for families to stay when their child is going through cancer treatment. These are located close to principal treatment centres across the UK. This is an exciting time to join the team and make a real difference - they are looking for a Maintenance Manager to join their Infrastructure team to ensure that the Charity’s properties are properly maintained and kept safe and secure, in a timely and cost-effective manner. Maintenance Manager Requirements: They are looking for an experienced and versatile Maintenance Manager, with a practical background in one or more of the building trades and previous project management experience, delivering small to mid-size construction projects and/or contracts management experience. With a background in the property / construction sector, you’ll have a good working understanding of H&S procedures and a proven track record in managing quotes and tender processes. You’ll be used to handling multiple projects simultaneously, working at speed and with minimal supervision. You will be highly personable and a strong team player - able to build and maintain strong relationships both externally and across the charity. The ability to manage and widen our pool of preferred external contractors / suppliers will come naturally and you’ll do this confidently in order to respond to the day-to-day reactive demands; as well as planning and delivering a breadth of small to medium scale works projects across our clients properties on time and within agreed budgets. Based 1-2 days in the Bristol Office, with the rest remote working or traveling to sites as required (in line with current COVID restrictions).
