Cover Supervisors - Bedlington

The Education Network is looking for Cover Supervisors of all levels of experience to work in Secondary Schools across the North East. Our clients need your help to mitigate the effects of teacher sickness and absence on children's education. We require professional, flexible behaviour managers with a passion for working with children to provide long-term and short-term classroom cover.
Role Overview:
You wouldn't be expected to plan, prepare or teach anything; you would be expected to cover lessons in the absence of a teacher and ensure the class stays on task with their work, managing the classroom and helping the students with their work as and when you can.
All we ask is that you:
1. Have experience of working with children/young people within the past 2 years
2. Have a valid DBS certificate or willingness to apply for one
3. Have at least two referees (including at least one child-based reference)
4. Are passionate about education and helping our North East children to reach their full potential!
Working with us:
Cover Supervisor (£90-£150 per day). Rate of pay is linked to your current teacher pay scale; minimum experience to receive the highest rate of pay would be M6.
