The Company overview Village Financial Services Ltd are a successful and well established independently owned mortgage and protection firm based in the centre of Tilehurst, Reading. We are looking for a Financial Administrator/Paraplanner/Trainee Paraplanner who have administrative experience, to join our team in order to support 2 advisers with over 25 years industry experience between them The Role Village Financial Services are Looking for a professional, outgoing individual who will provide administrative support to advisers. The Role would be part time between 20-24hrs per week. This will include the following Answering the incoming telephone enquiries Client contact via email and telephone Complete mortgage affordability calculators Carry out mortgage and protection product research using relevant sourcing software Use various lender and insurer online platforms/portals to submit mortgage and insurance applications Chasing outstanding client information/documentation Ensure all work meets the required FCA compliance standards Ideal Candidate Previous experience in mortgage administration or in a financial services environment is preferable, however not essential as applications will be considered for those with administration experience. Strong organisation skills. Excellent communication and customer services skills. Good computer skills. Able to demonstrate initiative and ability to time manage and prioritise mortgage and protection applications suitably. Enjoy working within a team.
