Hours of Work: Predominately Monday to Friday, flexible (24/7 service) Key Responsibilities include: Provide effective clinical leadership to all Forensic Practitioners and Healthcare Professionals, focusing on professional development issues Ensure that the delivery of services is within the budget forecast for their custody. Ensure that high-quality, evidence-based, patient-focused care is provided to all patients. Respond appropriately to capacity demands and patient dependency requirements, using professional judgement to ensure safety at all times. Act as a role model and teacher to all members of staff sharing best practices. Ensure that all staff are compliant with MAST requirements at all times. Give expert advice, support, and information to police, HCPs, and Forensic Practitioners, being aware of psychological/emotional needs and responding accordingly. Oversee the management of Clinical Leads, HCPs, FMEs, and Forensic Practitioner teams within area of responsibility, ensuring effective rostering of staff. Essential Requirements: Minimum of 5 years post-registration experience as a Nurse or Paramedic. Proven, multi-site, leadership and management experience. Driving license and access to a vehicle. Experience managing a clinical service. Good relationship management skills. Line management experience. Strong interpersonal and communication skills. Desirable: Previous experience working in secure or police custody healthcare environments. Project management experience
