You will be working as an Operations Manager for a successful family-run cleaning company based in Northampton, who are hiring for an experienced Operations Manager due to growth. You will assist with that growth and bring new and innovative ideas to the company to drive the business forward.
Ideally, you will have experience managing blue-chip clients and managing your own diary, but you will be expected to attend sites regularly to ensure standards and service levels are met. One of your key responsibilities will be driving the business forward and helping the company to grow even further. This is a hands-on role suitable for someone that enjoys being out and about instead of sitting behind a desk.
A highly respected cleaning contractor provides contract cleaning services for a wide range of clients across the UK and has been in business since the mid-90s. Your Role
1. Develop and implement operational policies and procedures to improve overall efficiency and productivity
2. Oversee and manage operation support managers, including scheduling, training, and performance evaluations
3. Monitor and analyse operational expenses to ensure profitability
4. Conduct regular site visits to ensure high-quality service and customer satisfaction
5. Collaborate with clients to discuss and resolve any concerns or issues swiftly
6. Develop and maintain relationships with suppliers and vendors
7. Stay up-to-date with industry trends and technologies to identify areas for improvement
8. Work closely with management to develop and implement strategies for business growth
About you
1. Experience of managing multiple cleaning sites & contracts at Operations Manager level
2. Ability to liaise and work professionally with clients and staff
3. Experience of motivating, managing and leading cleaning teams
4. Excellent communication skills
5. Full UK Driving licence
Location
You will ideally be based within 30 miles of Northampton.
