Salary: £24,000
Hours: 37.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday (Flexible start time. Hours between 07:00 – 18:00)
Holiday: 22 days + bank holidays (rising by 1 day per year up to 25 days)
About the Role for our Warehouse Order Fulfilment & Quality Control
Arden Personnel is recruiting for a Warehouse Operative to join a small but busy warehouse team. This hands-on role covers various aspects of dispatch, order fulfilment, quality control, and logistics. The ideal candidate will have experience in a small warehouse environment, a keen eye for detail, and a proactive attitude.
Key Responsibilities for the Warehouse Operative role?
• Order Fulfilment & Dispatch: Picking, packing, and processing orders to ensure timely and accurate deliveries.
• Quality Control: Checking products for defects and ensuring all orders meet company standards.
• Packing & Pallet Management: Efficiently packing goods for shipment and overseeing pallet organisation.
• Booking Deliveries: Managing courier and freight bookings, ensuring all shipments are correctly processed.
• Stock Handling: Keeping stock organised and up to date, reporting discrepancies when necessary.
• General Warehouse Duties: Maintaining a clean and safe working environment.
About You Warehouse Operative Role
• Previous experience in a small warehouse environment is essential.
• A positive attitude with a strong work ethic and attention to detail.
• Ability to work efficiently and independently in a fast-paced setting.
• Good understanding of quality control processes.
• Comfortable with manual handling and warehouse operations.
• Basic IT skills for booking deliveries and managing stock systems (preferred but not essential).
