You will join a team that includes supply partners, client representatives, and other technical specialists as they move towards the construction phase. You will lead or support the delivery of one of our exciting workstreams in this high-profile complex project, flexing your involvement as needed.
Naturally, you will build excellent collaborative relationships and have experience shaping thinking at the initial strategic planning phase all the way into implementation, construction, and delivery. You will also have demonstrated exceptional commercial acumen in contract management and developing effective and trusting supply partner relationships.
There would be future opportunities in this role to have complete accountability for other flood defence and climate adaption projects within the Environment Agency.
Responding to incidents is a central part of what we do. You will be required to have an incident role and make yourself available to respond to incidents or provide business continuity support during an incident. This may attract an additional payment and full training and alternative working arrangements will be available to support you with your incident role.
