Overview
Join our dynamic Technical Services department as an Apprentice – Administration, where you will play a crucial role in Claims Administration and General Office Administration. This position offers an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience and develop your skills in a supportive and professional environment.
Responsibilities
How you’ll make an impact
* Manage the main GB inbox and handle all postal correspondence efficiently.
* Coordinate invoicing and payments processes.
* Submit adjuster reports and maintain a diary for client responses.
* Ensure that post and emails are allocated to the appropriate claims handlers.
* Flag any urgent or concerning matters to the Team Leader promptly.
* Proactively manage incoming correspondence to the office.
* Perform general office administration tasks, including daily opening of post.
* Copy files for postage to Adjusters and review returned surveys.
* Contact contract adjusters by telephone to check availability.
* Reach out to brokers via telephone or email to acquire missing information.
* Communicate new claims to Coverholders before lodge allocation.
* Ensure communication lines are allocated appropriately within the office.
* Allocate correspondence correctly to various claim handlers.
* Communicate effectively with colleagues regarding urgent correspondence.
* Maintain personal workspace and equipment.
* Comply with all Gallagher Bassett and office procedures.
* Perform any other reasonable duties as the need arises by Gallagher Bassett.
