Job Role:
* Carry out diagnostics and repairs at customer and third-party sites.
* Support to OEMs as required, assist with new product introductions, and support the sales team in the CV department to increase awareness of product performance, share field service opportunities, and drive growth.
* Provide technical support and advice to sales colleagues where appropriate.
* Develop and maintain good working relationships with customers and their representatives, and work with customers to minimize downtime of assets.
* Liaise with Health & Safety and Field Service Managers on any issues arising from day-to-day tasks.
* Adhere to all Health & Safety and Environmental guidelines.
* Always work safely and professionally, in accordance with the relevant documentation.
* Complete all paperwork once assignments are finished and submit as soon as practical; complete engineering reports in a timely manner.
* Manage expenses responsibly.
* Monitor and control stock levels within the individual's depot and carry out stock takes in line with the annual plan.
* Maintain company vehicle in accordance with company policy.
* Working unsociable hours may arise to meet the requirements of the business, including reasonable additional hours to meet business needs.
* Use reporting procedures to provide feedback on quality-related issues noted during work assignments.
* Undertake product-specific training when requested.
Experience Required:
* Completed engineering apprenticeship as minimum; level 5 qualification or higher preferred.
* Background in field services and engineering.
* Experience with electric vehicles.
* Excellent diagnostic capabilities.
* Good IT skills.
* Full UK driving licence.
* New employees must pass a Drugs and Alcohol related Medical upon starting within the company.
Package:
* Company Vehicle.
* Monday to Thursday, 8 am to 5 pm, Friday 8 am to 3:30 pm; a 41-hour working week.
* GBP 50k - GBP 60k (dependent on experience) + Annual Bonus (pro rata on year of joining).
* 20 days holiday (pro rata on joining).
* Pension: 3% EE and 6% ER.
