Calling all Electricians in Droitwich!
Platform Property Care has a great opportunity for an experienced Electrician or Approved Electrician to join our Responsive Repairs team in a mobile role covering work around Droitwich, Worcester and Redditch and the surrounding areas.
You’ll be joining a talented repairs team carrying out remedial work, general maintenance, and repairs across our properties. You will thrive on giving great customer service and keeping jobs on track and have the drive to make sure the work is completed to spec. You will have a right first-time mentality ensuring the Customer is at the centre of everything you do.
The role is varied, and no two days are the same! It's a tough task and our expectations are high. In return you’ll have the support of a great team!

We want somebody who can:
A team player, you’ll be hard working and keen to learn with a can-do attitude. You’ll be working in people’s homes, so you’ll need to be friendly and approachable with good communication skills. You’ll also need to be organised and recognise the importance of delivering good customer service.
Ideally you will have
• Served an apprenticeship in Electrical or obtained an equivalent NVQ L3 & City & Guilds L3 in Electrical installation, commissioning, and certification
• AM2
• City and Guilds 2391 or equivalent in testing and inspection
• 18th Edition regulation
• If you do not have your 2391 or equivalent, you would be classed as an Electrician (£36,101 per annum)
We are looking for someone who has:
• Sound experience in delivering a range of electrical work and services in a domestic setting
• Experience of working for a social Landlord, Housing Association or Council.
• Experience of delivering responsive repairs
• Strong customer service skills
• A current valid driving licence
• As you will be working within Customer’s homes this role requires a DBS check.
There is also the opportunity to earn additional income from being on the out of hours rota as required. Average earnings from this could be approximately £1,900 per annum increasing salary for an Approved Electrician to £40,420 per annum, and for an Electrician to £38,001 per annum. This role will require working on the out of hours rota which includes availability over 7 days including working Saturdays and Sunday.
