Job Description
The key responsibilities of a Payroll Specialist will include:
* Overseeing end-to-end payroll operations.
* Ensuring all payments are accurate and made in a timely manner.
* Resolving payroll-related queries from staff.
* Updating payroll records with changes such as salary increases, promotions, or leavers.
* Collaborating with the HR department to ensure seamless payroll administration.
* Complying with all relevant legislation and regulations pertaining to payroll.
* Producing reports for senior management as required.
* Continually developing and improving payroll procedures.
The Successful Applicant
A successful Payroll Specialist should have:
* Proven experience in a payroll position ideally in-house
* Strong attention to detail and a high level of accuracy.
* Excellent numerical skills and proficiency in relevant software applications.
* Strong understanding of payroll tax laws and regulations.
