If you’re a confident leader with a passion for child-centred care and a strong understanding of residential services – we want to hear from you The Role: As the Registered Manager of our 4-bedded rural home, you’ll: Lead a skilled team of 9 staff members, fostering a culture of warmth, professionalism, and accountability. Deliver high-quality care that meets the emotional, social, and developmental needs of young people. Ensure smooth day-to-day operations while overseeing reports, care plans, and inspections with excellence. Provide motivational leadership, ongoing training, and development to support your team’s growth. Build strong relationships with external partners, ensuring the home maintains an excellent reputation in the community. About You: You’re not just experienced – you’re committed, compassionate, and resilient. You’ve worked in a children’s residential setting for at least 2 of the last 5 years, including 1 year in a supervisory role. You hold a relevant Level 5 qualification in Leadership & Management (Children and Young People) – or equivalent. You’re knowledgeable about Ofsted, safeguarding procedures, and children’s home legislation. You lead with empathy, confidence, and a determination to help every child thrive. You hold a full manual UK driving licence, have access to your own car with business insurance, and are happy to take part in on-call duties (approx. twice a month). Why Join Us?
