Job Title: Area Sales Manager M&E Building Services Water Management

Area to be covered: Large West Midlands & North Wales
Remuneration: £50,000 + £15,000 Bonus

Role Overview: The role of the Area Sales Manager Building Services Water Management will involve:
1. Field sales role selling manufactured range of commercial pumps into commercial building services projects such as schools, hospitals, high rise residential and public buildings.
2. Promoting centrifugal pumps, pump systems & services, heating and air conditioning, water supply and pressurisation, irrigation, waste water, submersible pumps & motors, water technology, electronic pressure units and booster systems with inverters.
3. 25% of your time stimulating demand for products with M&E sub contractors, facilities managers, design engineers etc.
4. 75% back selling through national (BSS, Wolseley, Smith Brother Stores etc.) and independent plumbing & heating merchants and specialist pump distributors.
5. Majority of your time will be spent generating new business, mainly through developing existing accounts.
6. Creating your own quotes, selection of products and pricing.
7. Managing circa 100 distribution accounts on patch.
8. On the road 2-3 days per week, rest of time working from home/admin.
9. Taking over a territory currently performing below budget expectations with a turnover of circa £1.5m.
10. Keeping a well-organised CRM system.
Ideal Applicant: The ideal applicant will be an Area Sales Manager Building Services Water Management with:
1. Proven field sales experience within associated building services, HVAC or water management industries.
2. Experience selling into M&E contractors.
3. Open to various product backgrounds including pumps, boilers, valves, ventilation, water heaters etc.
4. Must be technically HVAC competent; specific pump knowledge is not essential.
5. Reliable, consistent and well-organised.
6. Stable career history and looking for longevity.
