Job Summary: As a Cluster Sales Manager, you’ll play a pivotal role in driving revenue and market share across our properties. You will bring your dynamic personality and expertise to negotiate contracts, close agreements, and foster long-lasting client relationships. Your leadership will ensure that sales strategies align with business needs, helping your team and the business thrive. Key Responsibilities: Sales Strategy & Revenue Growth: Develop a deep understanding of local hotel markets, competitor activities, and pricing strategies. Drive revenue growth through targeted sales activities for Local and National Accounts. Identify and capitalise on new market opportunities to increase sales. Develop a network of contacts to drive cross-selling within the group. Client & Account Management: Build and maintain strong client relationships, ensuring repeat business. Negotiate contracts and close agreements to maximize profits. Forecast and track key account metrics, including monthly sales results and annual projections. Manage a portfolio of local and territory accounts, supporting the delivery of National Accounts. Conduct telesales campaigns and utilise market research to identify business opportunities. Maintain an up-to-date pipeline of target accounts through CRM systems. Operational Sales Execution: Lead and execute the sales plan, reviewing and updating strategies as needed. Ensure alignment with overall hotel business needs and corporate objectives. Oversee the preparation and execution of hotel RFPs (Request for Proposals). Support the conversion of Group and M&E (Meetings & Events) enquiries into confirmed business. Represent hotels at industry events, exhibitions, and networking opportunities. Collaboration & Leadership: Work closely with the Revenue Manager to ensure competitive rate negotiations. Foster strong relationships with front office teams to align objectives and drive results. Conduct sales training and mentorship to enhance the effectiveness of the sales team. Accompany sales team on client meetings to support account development. Participate in internal meetings, budgeting processes, and strategic discussions. Qualifications & Skills: Proven experience in hotel sales, preferably within a multi-property or cluster role. Strong negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills. Ability to work independently while motivating and leading a sales team. Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
