ABOUT THE ROLE
We’re looking for a friendly and proactive Office Coordinator to join our team and help us create a welcoming and efficient workplace. In this role, you’ll be the go-to person for all things office-related. From managing supplies and coordinating travel to supporting financial processes and planning team events, you’ll play a key part in keeping our office operations seamless. It’s a varied role where you’ll have the chance to take ownership of tasks, build relationships with vendors, and make a real difference in how our office functions.
This role is based at our offices in Waterloo Road, Hornby. We are looking for either full time or part time (30+hrs over 5 days). Your key responsibilities will include:
1. Keep the office stocked and organised, managing supplies, equipment, and vendor relationships.
2. Coordinate staff travel, including flights, accommodation, and transport.
3. Plan and support office events, meetings, and renovations, helping create a great workspace for everyone.
4. Be the friendly face of the office, welcoming guests, answering calls, and ensuring everything runs smoothly.
5. Support financial processes like accounts payable, receivables, and payroll, with opportunities to learn and grow in this area.
6. Help maintain office safety and compliance.
ABOUT YOU
You’re someone who enjoys bringing order to chaos and has a knack for getting things done. You’re organised, detail-oriented, and comfortable handling a variety of tasks. While experience in general administration is important, you don’t need to be a finance or events expert—just willing to learn and support where needed. You’re proficient in Excel, Word, and Outlook, and you’re great at building relationships with colleagues and vendors alike. Most of all, you’re a friendly and approachable person who takes pride in creating a positive work environment.
RECRUITMENT
The recruitment process will include a phone interview with the HR Manager and then an in-person interview with the line manager for the role. You'll also have a chance to meet the team.
There's a lot of research which shows that some groups of people are less likely to apply for a role unless they are confident they meet 100% of the requirements. Fabrum is a growing company with a need for diversity of thought and experience. We want talented people who see the future as we do and that's much more important than ticking every box.
Join our growing company and realise your potential to make a real impact. We're searching for passionate individuals eager to contribute their skills and experience.
