Are you a Finance Assessment Officer looking for work in Bristol or remotely from home?
Morgan Hunt's Public Sector and Government client based in Bristol is looking to recruit a Financial Assessment Officer to join a project team responsible for calculating how much the Council will pay towards the cost of an individual's care by reviewing their financial situation, in accordance with the Care Act .
This assignment has been deemed inside of IR35 and will offer full time home working.
Ideally, the successful candidate will have the ability to:
- Review financial statements and documentation.
- Calculate and assess whether an individual has capital of less than £23, to determine whether they are entitled to financial support from the Council to pay for the cost of their care.
- Use excellent communication skills to explain the outcome of an assessment.
- Offer Benefits advice to residents and claimants.
