Our Change Team is growing and have opportunities for Project Managers in Alderley Edge and Edinburgh. We deliver projects in key areas including Customer, Commercial and Enabling Functions and within our technical space, including Operational Resilience and Cyber projects. These are exciting opportunities to join a growing organisation and work on a variety of projects. We are currently looking for someone who is experienced and looking to apply their knowledge to support Royal London's continued success. You will ensure business outcomes are clearly understood and associated solutions are delivered to enable the business to realise benefits on time, within budget and to agreed quality standards. Solutions may involve change to any of business process, operating model, application, infrastructure, and third-party services. About the role
* Apply best project management practice to projects across our business teams and technology.
* Provide leadership to the project team by building and motivating team members to meet project goals, adhering to their responsibilities and project milestones
* Articulate and demonstrate business acumen around cost and the impact on profitability
* Define and agree required level of project resource needed for successful project delivery
* Manage risks and issues, understanding a wider risk context associated with the business and the delivery
* Build a collaborative, commercial relationship with 3rd parties to manage costs and maximise value
* Implement appropriate level of Governance in-line with Group methods
* Cost control on the project and understanding the impact this has on Group-wide financial performance and value to the customer
Proven working experience in project management delivering both business and technical change initiatives
* Experience of Agile and Waterfall delivery practices
* The ability to solve and unblock issues within teams or departments
* The skills to build consensus between organisations or highly independent and diverse stakeholders
* Proactivity and future thinking around the management and control of project costs and benefits
* Interpersonal skills to influence and spur change, facilitate, and enhance performance within a cross - functional environment
* Experience of leading project teams, building and maintaining the trust, confidence, commitment and collaboration of others
