Job Details: Commercial Account Manager - Hoseasons
Description: What we do is simple – we send people on holiday, and who doesn’t love that? But we couldn’t do it without our Partners and property owners. That’s why it’s incredibly important that we support them and keep them in the know when it comes to commercial performance, market trends, and our marketing activity. After all, we work hard to fill their properties and maximise their revenue, so it is really important that we tell them what we’re doing and ensure we are fulfilling their objectives. We’re looking for a commercially astute and numbers-focused professional who prides themselves on their communication and relationship management skills to be able to articulate the value we bring to the Partnership.
About Awaze: We’re home to some of the world’s most trusted travel brands, including cottages.com, Hoseasons, and Novasol (to name just a few!). Together, these brands make us the largest managed vacation rental business in the world. We’re proud to have over 100,000 properties in our portfolio, in 25 countries across Europe, giving our guests the choice of a fantastic range of properties and taking over 1.5 million bookings each year.
The Role: This role positions you as the commercial leader within the UK supply team, with specific responsibility for Hoseasons. You will play a pivotal role in managing and fostering key commercial partnerships, ensuring strong B2B relationships, and driving performance through data-led decision-making.
What You’ll Be Doing:
1. Acting as the Commercial Leader for Hoseasons and the primary point of contact for a designated portfolio of key Commercial Partners, ensuring strong, collaborative relationships.
2. Managing and nurturing commercial partnerships, ensuring alignment between the Partner’s strategic objectives and Awaze’s business goals.
3. Driving performance by analysing key business data, working closely with Revenue Management and Marketing teams to identify areas of concern or opportunity, and implementing data-driven strategies to maximize results.
4. Providing regular business updates to partners, ensuring their operational requirements are supported while aligning internal teams on the collective strategy.
5. Acting as a visible and inspiring ambassador for Awaze, both internally and externally, championing the Hoseasons business and ensuring that all commercial activities are aligned with broader business objectives.
6. Creating compelling presentations and reports that translate complex commercial data into actionable insights, presenting them confidently to stakeholders both in person and via Teams.
This role demands strong commercial acumen, strategic thinking, and a data-driven approach to decision-making. You’ll need to be adept at building relationships, influencing stakeholders, and driving commercial performance through insight-led strategies.
Key skills we need: We’re a team full of energy and with a passion for what we do, so it’s key that you’re enthusiastic, driven and keen to be part of a team. What else do you need in order to succeed in this role?
1. Excellent communication and leadership skills.
2. Commercial leader with the ability to turn numbers into a narrative.
3. Outstanding at building and maintaining relationships.
4. Proven experience of success in commercial negotiations.
5. A data based approach to decision making.
6. The ability to work at pace to strict deadlines.
7. An adaptable nature with the ability to prioritise your workload.
8. The ability to form strong relationships and bring together different functions within the business.
9. Ability to use PowerPoint to articulate the ‘story’.
10. Detailed knowledge of the UK Parks industry.
Equally as important as all the technical “stuff”, we’re looking for someone who is hungry to learn, irrespective of their seniority. We don’t believe in standing still (we work in travel, after all), but instead think that everyone should be learning, all the time. Whether it’s a new analytical tool, an industry event or a mentoring opportunity, we will support you to grow your skillset.
If you’re excited by working in a fast-paced environment, are obsessed by all things customer and want to join us on our journey, we’d love to chat.
What we’ll give you: This is an opportunity for you to join us at a pivotal point in time as we invest in our future. You’ll be joining a team of genuine, passionate people. You’ll have the freedom to choose the best way of working to get the job done. We work cross-functionally, so you’ll be given opportunities to develop skills outside of your core skillset. You’ll be an integral part of a team which will deliver growth, and who doesn’t want that?
We offer a great salary and fantastic benefits; we’re all about holidays, so we practise what we preach and offer some great travel discounts. We offer flexible working hours and remote working, too.
What else do you need to know? We want to make the application process as stress-free as possible, so typically we’ll have an informal chat with you on the phone, followed by a comprehensive interview over Teams, where you’ll have a chance to find out a bit more about the exciting things we’re doing (and maybe tell us what we’re doing wrong). We want to hear about what makes you tick and why.
We are an equal opportunity employer and we value diversity and inclusion. We do not discriminate on the basis of gender, race, age, sexual orientation, colour, religion, disability status or marital status.
