Air Logistics Planner – Helicopter Operations (Southern North Sea)

Offshore operations are always evolving, and logistics plays a crucial role in ensuring smooth and safe transportation. As an Air Logistics Planner, you will be part of the team responsible for transporting personnel and materials to and from offshore installations safely and efficiently. With strict regulations in place, your role will ensure the success of each helicopter flight, maintaining safety and compliance throughout the process.
Scope & Job Purpose: As an Air Logistics Planner, your key responsibilities will include:
* Coordinating the daily flight schedule for personnel traveling to offshore installations.
* Ensuring fully optimized flight schedules that comply with relevant safety and regulatory requirements.
* Booking passengers onto helicopter flights and maintaining updated records.
* Attending planning meetings to stay informed about ongoing and upcoming operations.
* Ensuring passenger compliance with company and industry requirements through Vantage POB.
* Supporting the monitoring of Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) for Air Logistics.
* Engaging closely with stakeholders, including activity planners, offshore Radio Operators, and contracting companies.
* Potential participation in an out-of-hours duty roster to support operational needs.
Logistics and Offshore Dimensions:
* Fixed contract with a minimum of one helicopter operation.
* Several Ad Hoc providers.
* Two manned offshore installations and multiple unmanned installations.
* Walk 2 Work vessel and barges/rigs.
Key Qualifications & Skills: We’re looking for someone who has:
* Knowledge of offshore logistics.
* Previous experience in the Oil and Gas industry, preferably within logistics.
* A responsible attitude with flexibility to handle changing operational needs.
* Ability to manage and coordinate tasks effectively within a team, and beyond.
* Preferably, knowledge of Vantage POB system.
* Calm, efficient communication skills during stressful situations (e.g., flight delays and backlogs).
* Willingness to work unsocial hours to meet operational demand.
