We are seeking a Production Coordinator to aid the JP production team in managing the production and delivery of content. This person will support Production Executives managing programs across Unscripted, Scripted, Movies and Anime. The successful candidate will possess the capability to complete high volumes of complex tasks and projects quickly; react with appropriate urgency to situations and events that require quick response or turnaround; and efficiently and creatively solve difficult or complex problems that affect people within the business. You will also be detail oriented with strong organization skills, as well as the ability to switch gears at a moment's notice. A high level of integrity and discretion in handling confidential information and professionalism in dealing with senior professionals inside and outside the company is key. This position will report to the Head of Production, APAC International Originals and assist our Production Executives to help manage our projects and 3rd party production partners.
Key job responsibilities
1. Work closely with our Production Executives in all aspects of projects from development to production and post production.
2. Assist team to track projects in various stages and ensure delivery of appropriate documents and information to production companies.
3. Works with production companies and internal post-production team to insure delivery of all required technical, video and legal documents and contractual deliverables.
4. Provides coordination between internal departments such as creative, marketing, press, business affairs, legal, finance, and tax.
- Fluent in written and spoken Japanese and English.
- 3+ years of experience at a Streamer, a TV network, a TV/Film/Anime production company, or a Film Studio.
- Excellent both in written and verbal communications.
- Understanding of the production process.
- Passion for attention to detail and the ability to track multiple projects at once.
- Experience in various media production environments.
- Experience with creating and maintaining schedules for various projects.
- Experience with delivery of assets to studio.
- Experience with a variety of digital media workflows.
- Ability to work independently while being able to contribute successfully to cross-functional teams.
- Excellent organizational skills; ability to manage multiple projects at once, follow through and meet deadlines.
