The CDM Advisor's Role
The successful CDM Advisor will play a crucial role in ensuring compliance with CDM regulations across a variety of projects. The CDM Advisor will be responsible for providing comprehensive health and safety advice, managing design risk, and fulfilling the role of Principal Designer.
Responsibilities
1. Advising clients on their duties under the CDM regulations.
2. Managing the design risk management process.
3. Reviewing and approving construction phase plans.
4. Preparing pre-construction information packs.
5. Conducting site inspections and audits to ensure compliance with health and safety standards.
6. Delivering CDM and health and safety training to clients and project teams.
The Successful CDM Advisor Will Have
7. NEBOSH Construction Certificate or equivalent.
8. Proven experience in a CDM or health and safety advisory role.
9. Strong understanding of the CDM regulations.
10. Construction or design background preferred.
11. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
12. Ability to manage multiple projects and work effectively as part of a team.
