About the Role
Working alongside experienced team members to build and develop on our existing IAM infrastructure and supporting the team in business-as-usual activities as well as contributing to IAM projects.
The postholder, in consultation with technical experts within the team, will have responsibility for software development, systems design, implementation, testing, and contributing to project work packages identified, commensurate with skills and experience.
The Identity and Access Management (IAM) Team support the systems that play a vital role in providing services underpinning University IT systems and business processes within the collegiate University: the post holder will, as a member of the IAM team, have shared responsibility for the range of services it offers during the lifetime of the post.
About You
* Ability to develop and deploy applications using Java/J2EE together with web-based application development using e.g Apache, PostgreSQL/MySQL
* Programming skills in one or more scripting languages such as bash, Python, Perl
* Experience with source code management tools (e.g. subversion, git)
* Data modelling of multiple many to many relationships using a common representation syntax (e.g. XML, relational database, directory)
