About the Science Department
We are a collaborative, enthusiastic and supportive team of nine full-time and eight part-time teaching staff, with an exceptional technician team (3 full-time, 1 part-time).
We are a vibrant community that values every member’s contributions. We foster a caring and supportive environment, where our ambition for students goes hand in hand with promoting a genuine appreciation for the subject.
We have nine labs and four classrooms, providing an optimal environment for hands-on learning. Over the past three years we have significantly enhanced our practical itinerary, ensuring students enjoy positive and engaging practical experiences from Year 7 to Year 13.
As a department, we believe in investing both in our students and in our team, fostering an environment where all can thrive and contribute to the ever-evolving landscape of scientific exploration.
We look forward to welcoming dedicated individuals who share our passion for an ambitious, caring, and equal science education.
