HOURS: Monday – Friday, 8:30-3:30 Are you a passionate and dedicated Level 3 Teaching Assistant with a love for working with young children? We are seeking a nurturing and enthusiastic Teaching Assistant to join our vibrant team, supporting students in both Nursery and Reception classes. This is an exciting opportunity to make a positive impact on the early learning journey of children in a diverse and dynamic school based in Barnet. As a Level 3 Teaching Assistant, you will play a key role in helping our Nursery and Reception students develop both academically and socially in a caring and stimulating environment. Key Responsibilities:
* Support children in Nursery and Reception classes with their learning and development.
* Assist the class teacher in planning and delivering engaging activities that promote early literacy, numeracy, and social skills.
* Work with small groups or individual children to provide targeted support.
* Help create a positive, safe, and inclusive learning environment.
* Observe and record children’s progress, assisting with assessments and reporting on their development.
* Support children with personal care and wellbeing as needed.
* Build strong relationships with children, staff, and parents, contributing to a collaborative school community.
* Assist in managing classroom resources and preparing materials for lessons.
What We Are Looking For:
* Level 3 qualification in Supporting Teaching and Learning or equivalent.
* Experience working with children in an Early Years setting (Nursery or Reception).
* A genuine passion for supporting young children’s learning and development.
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
* Ability to work well within a team and independently.
* A proactive and positive attitude, with a flexible approach to supporting children’s needs.
* Knowledge of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) curriculum.
* An understanding of child development and safeguarding practices.
