Transport Customer Support Coordinator Full time, permanent (shifts: 08:00 – 16:30, 09:00 – 17:30 & 09:30 – 18:00) We are looking to recruit a new member to join our busy team in Ipswich. The successful applicant will work as a member of a small team, monitoring haulage performance for export collections and Import deliveries. The appointed will also deal with non-conformances, customer queries and general quality issues with regards to the transport system. Skills and experience you'll bring to us Must have previous office experience, with ability to communicate at all levels with both haulier and customer Previous experience in a similar role would be beneficial Excellent telephone skills Good numeracy, literacy and IT skills. Knowledge of Excel & Word Ability to maintain a high level of customer service under pressure A flexible approach and 'can do' attitude is essential Compliance with MSC's email etiquette Excellent communication and teamwork Strong team player How you will help us and what you can expect Work to agreed KPI's with haulage to measure haulage performance (in particular relating to VIP Customers) Act as a link between commercial/haulage team to improve service Act upon feedback from commercial team and put systems in place for monitoring Always endeavour to help colleagues import/export whenever possible Ensure daily tasks given, e.g. re bookings are up to date and have set procedures for daily/weekly tasks Ensure by end of each week that charges are all up to date, re bookings and detentions are looked at on a daily basis Assist other colleagues/teams as and when required Meet agreed deadlines and follow up action where needed So, if you feel that this is the next step in your career, please apply now.
