The service supports children with social, emotional and behavioural issues ages 10-18. You'll learn and develop with the children as the service loves to upskill their team and promote from within. You will create a stimulating and safe environment for the children to thrive, and you will thrive alongside them!

A successful residential childcare worker will responsible for:
- Working effectively as part of a team
- Supporting the social, emotional and educational needs of children
- De-escalating challenging behaviour
- Taking on key work responsibilities
- Maintaining professional manner and working to National Care Standards
- Working to a flexible schedule, including nightshifts, weekends and bank holidays
To be successful in your application, you will:
- Have previous experience working in a care setting with young people
- Experience in a secure setting is beneficial, but not essential
- Have flexibility in the roles undertaken
- Have strong communication skills
- Register under the PVG scheme
- Full driving licence
- Obtained (or willing to work towards) SVQ level 3 in Health and Social Care, or equivalent
