About the role
The ideation team in Product Insight and Ideation is a dynamic, ambitious and customer centric team whose goal is to empower English language learning and enable better results for our learners and teachers across the globe, through our world-class English language learning and assessment materials and propositions.
We are looking for an experienced Product Owner to lead agile scrum teams to develop early-stage products and propositions. These will explore new opportunities and help to define roadmaps and influence strategy and the future of language learning and assessment.
1. Leading scrum teams through ideation and prototyping to achieve maximum value for customers, users and key stakeholders.
2. Ensuring that customer/user requirements are prioritised, and key dependencies understood, to focus development resources and feed insights back into product plans and strategy.
3. Working collaboratively to support development of new products that will drive our growth in future.
4. Anticipating changing customer needs and future trends and adapting development plans accordingly.
About you
You will be an experienced, collaborative and creative product professional with a proven track record in the design, development and delivery of learning products looking to join a multi-disciplinary team working on a fascinating breadth of early-stage English language products and technologies, within a global organisation which is transforming its product range.
You will be passionate about user-centred, agile approaches to development with experience developing products, and providing innovative solutions, that are focused on customer needs and value and deliver good ROI aligned to strategy.
You will have a strong technical background, analytical mind and commercial acumen and though Education industry knowledge and experience would be beneficial, it is not essential.
You will be able to influence and collaborate with stakeholders through your excellent spoken and written communication skills and have experience providing leadership to your scrum team through the development stages of the product's early lifecycle.
