Are you passionate about making a difference in the lives of individuals with learning disabilities and autism?
As a Service Manager for supported living services in Southampton, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring high-quality care and support.
One of your key duties will be conducting initial assessments to tailor services that meet the unique needs of each individual.
Successful candidate will:
1. Conduct thorough initial assessments to understand the needs and preferences of individuals.
2. Develop comprehensive care and placement plans that promote independence and well-being.
3. Regularly visit services to ensure standards are maintained and improvements are implemented.
4. Provide supervision and support to staff, fostering a collaborative and motivated team environment.
5. Liaise with families, healthcare professionals, and other stakeholders to coordinate care and support.
6. Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and best practice guidelines.
Desirable Experience:
1. Previous experience in managing supported living services for individuals with learning disabilities and autism.
2. Strong understanding of care planning and assessment processes.
3. Proven ability to lead and supervise a team effectively.
4. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
5. Knowledge of relevant regulations and best practices in supported living services.
6. Ability to build positive relationships with service users, families, and professionals.
