Conference & Banqueting Events Manager
Become the driving force behind our client's thriving events management team at their unique stunning venue. As the Conference and Banqueting Events Manager in this newly created role, you'll play a pivotal role in delivering exceptional experiences for our clients, ensuring every event is a resounding success from initial enquiry through to event delivery and debrief with client afterwards.
This is an exciting opportunity to make your mark in the dynamic world of hospitality. As C&B Events Manager, it is essential that you have operational excellence in managing all on-site events, collaborative leadership in coordinating cross-functional teams, and a passion for delivering outstanding customer service.
No day is ever the same in this role; it will also require someone that is hands-on who can manage heavy physical work as the event space will change to clients' requirements. As C&B Events Manager, you will also need operational and event management experience and be confident to assist in Bar & Food operations when an event is running.
Preferred Requirements:
1. Sales experience with managing enquiries through to event delivery
2. Liaise with colleagues to plan and prepare for each event, ensuring all details are accounted for and any concerns are addressed proactively
3. Effectively manage events from start to finish, maintaining a professional and customer-focused approach
4. Contribute to team meetings and share information to keep the entire team informed and aligned
5. Demonstrate a deep understanding of the venue's facilities, services, and promotions to provide clients with comprehensive information
6. Exhibit a positive attitude, lead by example, and continuously seek opportunities for personal and professional development
Preferred Qualifications:
1. Strong background in Hotel C&B Management or Banqueting & Event Management
2. Proven experience in events management or a related hospitality role
3. Strong communication and interpersonal skills to build rapport with clients and collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams
4. Excellent problem-solving abilities and a solutions-oriented mindset
5. Have experience of setting up and breaking down events
The Package / Benefits / Opportunities:
Salary range of £30,000 to £35,000 based on experience
