Are you looking for a Groundworker role? Interested in working for a leading Construction Company?
VANRATH are recruiting a Groundworker to work on Social Housing maintenance projects for a large, leading Construction Company in Belfast, Northern Ireland.
Remuneration:
£27,560 + van / fuel card / package
Key Responsibilities:
5. Assist the Foreman in producing a quality product within the contract period
6. Understand, implement and adhere to SHEQ requirements
7. Ensure you complete the full sequence of events on PDA and the completion of jobs for invoicing
8. Efficient use of the Impact system
9. Adhere to the Client contract KPI's and, target dates and timeframes
10. Provide a high quality service to tenants, specifically within domestic properties that are either occupied or void
11. Work in accordance with any training and instructions given and bring to the attention of the employer any shortcomings and defects in the management systems and protective measures
12. Assist with the adherence to the Company quality standards including:
13. Compliance with specification and SOR codes
14. Adherence to the sequence of events for each job on the PDA
15. Ensure van stock is processed and managed accordingly
16. Ensure that your work is carried out the highest quality and within a reasonable amount of time
17. Ensure any additional work is captured and communicated to the relevant person, so that the company can invoice for additional work completed
18. Compliant in timeframes allocated of jobs, ensure target dates are met
19. Compliance with materials / workmanship schedules
20. Maintain and care for all company tools
21. Use appropriate safety equipment, wear appropriate clothing / uniform
22. Ensure areas of work are left clean, tidy and safe at all times
23. Be responsible for and take due care of the company van in accordance with the company car policy
24. Liaison with the client, consultants, contract administrator, head office etc.
25. Be responsible for your own safety and all other around you
26. Make every effort to attend mandatory courses relevant to your role
27. Material co-ordination and organisation
28. Ensure accurate / timely completion of any relevant site based documentation
The Ideal Person:
29. Relevant industry training and qualifications
30. Previous experience in a similar role
31. CSR Card
32. Excellent communication skills
33. Excellent customer service skills
34. Ability to demonstrate good teamwork values
35. Full, valid, clean driving license
36. Maintenance experience is ideal
