Overview We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Secondary Music Teacher to join our vibrant educational community. Duties Develop and implement engaging lesson plans that cater to various skill levels and learning styles. Teach music theory, instrumental techniques, vocal training, and performance skills. Prepare students for performances, competitions, and examinations. Assess student progress and provide constructive feedback to support their development. Organise and participate in school concerts, recitals, and other musical events. Collaborate with other teachers and staff to integrate music into the broader curriculum. Maintain an inclusive classroom environment that encourages creativity and self-expression. Qualifications A degree in Music Education or a related field is preferred. Proven experience teaching music to students of various ages and skill levels. Proficiency in one or more musical instruments or vocal performance. Strong communication skills with the ability to engage and motivate students. Knowledge of different musical genres and teaching methodologies. Patience, creativity, and a passion for nurturing young talent. Enhanced DBS check will be required prior to employment.
